Program:

1. Welcome & Introduction (15 min)

Traditional Moroccan mint tea offered on arrival

Brief introduction to Moroccan cuisine and today’s menu

Meet the chef and the assistants

2. Market Visit (Optional – 45 min)

Visit a local souk (market)

Learn about spices, vegetables, and fresh ingredients

Shopping for key ingredients with guidance from the chef

3. Cooking Workshop (2 hours)

Hands-on preparation of traditional dishes:

Starter: Moroccan salads (Zaalouk, Taktouka)

Main dish: Chicken or lamb Tagine with preserved lemons & olives

Side dish: Couscous or Moroccan bread (Khobz)

Dessert: Moroccan pastries (e.g., Chebakia) or oranges with cinnamon

Learn cooking techniques: spice mixing, slow cooking, bread kneading

 

4. Tasting and Lunch (45 min–1 hour)

Sit together and enjoy the dishes prepared

Share stories and tips with the chef

 

5. Closing & Certificate (10 min)

Receive a printed recipe booklet
