Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

  • Morning Departure & Scenic Drive

Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM as we pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation. Crossing the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260m), you’ll witness stunning panoramic views, winding mountain roads, and charming Berber villages.

  • Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

Step back in time as we explore Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village famous for its roles in Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and more. Wander through its ancient mud-brick streets, capturing breathtaking photos along the way.

  • Ouarzazate – The Hollywood of Morocco

Next, we stop at Ouarzazate, home to Atlas Film Studios, where many Hollywood films were shot. Optionally, you can visit the Taourirt Kasbah, a beautifully preserved 19th-century palace.

  • Dades Valley – The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs

Continuing through Rose Valley and the Skoura palm groves, we arrive at Dades Gorge, known for its unique rock formations and winding roads. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and a relaxing night in a cozy riad or hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga – Overnight in the Sahara Desert Camp

  • Breakfast & Todra Gorge Exploration

After breakfast, we drive to Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with 300m-high cliffs. Take a short walk along the crystal-clear river and admire the towering rock walls that attract climbers worldwide.

  • Journey to the Sahara – Merzouga’s Golden Dunes

Passing through Berber villages and the town of Rissani, we arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Get ready for an unforgettable camel trek through the towering Erg Chebbi dunes.

  • Sunset Camel Trek & Desert Camp Experience

As the sun dips below the horizon, watch the sand dunes glow with golden hues. Upon arrival at your desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by live Berber music around a crackling campfire.

  • Overnight in a Luxury Desert Camp

Drift off under a sky filled with stars, sleeping in a comfortable Berber tent nestled among the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Fes

  • Sunrise Over the Sahara & Departure

Wake up early for a breathtaking desert sunrise, followed by breakfast at the camp. Return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, then begin your journey north toward Fes.

  • Ziz Valley – A Desert Oasis

We drive through the picturesque Ziz Valley, home to lush palm groves and scenic gorges, before stopping for lunch in Midelt, a peaceful town in the Middle Atlas Mountains.

  • Cedar Forest & Ifrane – A Taste of Alpine Morocco

On the way to Fes, we visit the Cedar Forest, where you might spot playful Barbary macaque monkeys. We also pass through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its European-style architecture and cool climate.

  • Arrival in Fes

Your incredible desert adventure concludes in Fes, where we drop you off at your accommodation by early evening.
